Re: Avatar I went for the full on 3D IMAX screening, I enjoyed it and so did everyone else who was there. The IMAX was sold out too (we had to reserve seats in advance), which was surprising since it's been out for six weeks. The majority of reviews are on the money; the story isn't brilliant, but it works and the visuals compensate for it's problems regardless. I'd rate it higher than Trek '09, and I think this is one of those films that you have to see on a big screen at least once.
