Default Why nationalism is dangerous

Relating to a recent shoutbox discussion: "Against Nationalism."

Unsurprisingly, I agree with the author.

Like religion, nationalism encourages unthinking acceptance of ludicrosities and divides people for no reason. And, also as with religion, so-called "less extreme" nationalism can mutate into more zealous varieties and provide philosophical cover for them.
