| The Awesome One | GODDAMMI!T!!! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK, COCKSUCKING MOTHERFUCKERS!!!! ARRRRRRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!! I can't fucking believe this! The first 10 minutes of the show we get what we wanted, Clark tells Lana!!! Fine great, she knows they're all happy and shit, great it's finally done! The Lex goes all fucking crazy when he figures it out! Sweet right? This is great right? FUCK!!!!!! THEN!!!! These motherfuckers had to pull a fucking Star Trek Voyager style stunt that Rick fucking Berman himself would be fucking proud of AND RESET IT ALL THROUGH THE WONDER OF TIME FUCKING TRAVEL!!!!!!! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!! What in the fucking hell were they thinking????? GODDAMMIT!!!! Smallville has let me down before.. need I mention last season... but being a Superman fanatic, I've held on to the small pieces of hope, Brainiac, the Fotress, Lexs slow descent into his own meglomania. But this takes the fucking cake! EVEN VOYAGER never pulled a fucking reset switch as dirty, underhanded, and rotten as this one! MOTHERFUCKERS ROT IN HELL!

| Astro-Monkey | For me, Jonathan Kent's death was the worst part of the episode. In the movie, his death had some great emotion. In this episode, I didn't feel anything. Even Lana's death in the middle of the episode was kinda bland.

![]() | Glad I missed it, then. Also glad that my predictions of mass suckitude were apparently fairly correct.

| The Awesome One | You're right Arik, in the movie Pa Kents death was a huge moment, in this one it was perverted by some stupid storyline they're gonna try and pursue now about some stupid fucking picture. Blah blah blah.... Although I have to disagree with the Lana death at the start. I think that was done well. The only thing I think could have made that better (besides not resetting it) is to have had Clark turn on Lex right then. Not kill him or anything, but really freak right out on him. Of course, it didn't matter anyways, cause they pulled this stupid "Year of Hell" stunt. Evenif they had ended the episode with Clark saying to Lana "I have to tell you something" and then we cut to the credits I would have been satisfied, but NOOOOOOOO we have to keep going through this fucking Clark and Lana bullshit for the rest of the season. FUCK!!! I just don't understand, this is probably the last season, and in the comics, Lana knew about Clark. So that means if they want to follow continuity (and I can't see why else they would have included her character anyways) she HAS to find out. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!

| Astro-Monkey | When Lana died, I looked at the clock and realized that only half the episode was over. I said to myself "I wonder how they're going to bring her back". Maybe it's just my increasing cynicism with the show, but I knew she wasn't going to stay dead, so I just didn't care.

| Astro-Monkey | I just re-watched the first hour and a half of Superman: The Movie. Like I remembered, Jonathan Kent's death was handled so much better there. Even without the reset button, it was such a letdown. And, now Clark lost his father and lost the girl. He's willing to save her life, but not tell her the TRUTH. All of the drama in this show is manufactured now. I don't care anymore. This Clark isn't going to be Superman, he's going to wallow in his own self-doubt for the rest of his life.

| Lover AND a Fighter | I feel the same way about basically everything already said. It was an overhyped cheap ripoff. I did think the funeral montage was well put together. The first part with Clark and Lana... also very well done. Everything else, was fucking utter shit!
