| Astro-Monkey | I hate 'em. People always think because you have one, it's an excuse to call you whenever. Wherever you are. "Dude, you want to get together and do something tonight?" "I'm not home. Does that maybe suggest something to you?" If I'm not at home, why exactly do I want to take your call? I'm already out! I'm busy. Pester me with your problems some other day! If you turn your phone off, it's even worse. "Dude, why do you even have that thing? You never have it on." The first (and last) time I heard that, I decided to get rid of my phone. If people are going to resent the fact that I don't always want to spend every moment of every day with them, why should I enable them? I've been cell phone free for about two years now. And loving it. *This post dedicated to the fact that I may have to buy a cell phone in the near future. ![]()
