![]() | Still a first draft. I'm gonna ad a pic of the Enterprise to it, and maybe fiddle with the text. Of course, none of them are wearing the uniforms, and I don't think Emile Hirsch is the best choice for Chekov, and even if he is... not that picture. So I'm still workin' on it.

| The Awesome One | I don't know about your choice for Kirk, of course those are some big shoes to fill anyways. Although I absolutley LOVE your choice for Mccoy ![]()

![]() | I dunno, I like Ron Eldard, and I think he looks the part well enough. Whether or not he could play it, I dunno - he really hasn't had too many big parts. The upcoming "Blind Justice" show looks like it could be interesting, though. I plan on checking that one out. Sinise for McCoy, I'm not even sure where the idea came from... It was like I didn't even think of anyone else, just BOOM - him. I had to struggle on some of them, like Daniel Dae Kim for Sulu and Emile Hirsch for Chekov. But Merrin Dungey for Uhura was an easy choice, after watching "Alias" and same for Greg Grunberg for Scotty. I don't know if he could do the accent, of course, but he's got that sort of fun attitude that I think Scotty should have.

| The Awesome One | I don't think anyone short of the late Deforest Kelly could play Mccoy as well as Sinise would. Kirk like I said, is a tough one to fill. I mean, how do you replace Captain Kirk. Shatner has truly done what not many actors do with a part like that. He has definitley made the role his own. To the point where I don't think I could ever picture anyone else as Kirk.

![]() | That's what people often say when someone brings up a TOS remake, but as much as I like Shatner, it is just a role. Characters have been recast in tv shows and movies for decades, and in stage plays for centuries. As cool as ShatnerKirk is, he's no different from any other character out there that has EVER been written. Sure, each James Bond is different... but they're all still James Bond. Except Lazenby... I never got into him. Or that movie in general. Just didn't like it, through and through.

![]() | I think if it ever happens, and an honest to goodness good actor is cast as Kirk, people will soften up on the subject.

| Religious Fanatic | I'm not familiar with any of those those actors except McCoy and Sulu, but the choice for McCoy is great, even looks similar, but the Sulu is a tad predictable, and I dunno, the guy kills pretty much any role I've seen him in, and I think deserves the nickname "token sci-fi asian guy" cause that's what he usually is.

| Religious Fanatic | Here's an improvement on yours, I just added some uniforms and made the Spock guy look more vulcan (cleared the stubble and pointed the eyebrows). I think that f you add some sort of uniforms, you should make them pretty much the same as before only more detailed, I liked the coler on the Sulu guy so I gave them all the same thing.

| Patrons | I'm pretty much in the same boat as Cymro, I really don't reconize these people other than Bones and Sulu. GREAT pick for McCoy,when I looked at the poster my eyes instantly went to him and I could actuallysee him in the role of McCoy. Chekov... one of the things from the TOS days was that he always looked barely old enough to be in the academy, let alone be a graduate and helmsman. I would probly go with someone much younger looking than the guy you have now. As far as Sulu, yeh... I agree with Cymro, I don't know hhs name, but I now his face from sci-fi shows, and kind of agee with the "token Asian sci-fi guy" remark. I'm kind of thinking B.D. Wong (Law & Order SVU) might make a good Sulu. He has that mixture of serious quality, only speaks up when needed, makes his point then moves on but able to crack a joke at the appropriate time as we know for Sulu. Plus, the guy in there now, most people's thought would be, 'oh, there's that Asian guy who does all the sci-fi stuff'. I think B.D. Wong would make people notice more, and would even be a good break-out role for him to show that he's capible of doing more than police/lawyer roles. The pick for Uhra is great, even though I can't place her from anything, but it's nice to see that it's someone other than going with Hollywood's typical Hale Berry. I don't why all of a sudden they want to cast her in every role they can think of. I really don't think she's a very good actress.... about the only quality going for her is her face.
