| regruntled and reemployed | My take on an Astrobar graphic. Used a NASA font. The entire project, although simple, had to be done on two different applications: GIMP and Pixia, each compensating for each other's weaknesses. EDIT: Oohhh, I just noticed a really glaring flaw in the picture ![]() Last edited by Deslok; 01-27-2006 at 08:10 PM. |

| Religious Fanatic | It's nice, but I'm wondering what the glaring flaw is.

![]() | One of the little spectral orbs on the underside of the text, you can see that I used a (badly made) brush there, there's a square of black cutting into the glowing light. I've been experimenting with using the layers in a program that is a lot like photoshop, called GIMP. Now that I'm finally beginning to understand how the layering thing works and all the ways it can be used, I'm finally starting to have fun with this prog. I'm considering re-doing that Bermanprise poster that I made about a year ago, only this time it won't look like it was done by an epileptic cat. |

| "It's a faaaake!" | The black boxes severely mar the picture, IMO.
