I think it has a lot of the elements we were looking for in the reboot 1701 mesh - mixing TOS with some of the design elements of the movies (and in the case of the nacelles, "Enterprise").

I couldn't stand using someone else's mesh though - having to remember to credit everyone all the time

Oh, right. Turns out the issues were solved (i.e. better hidden) by increasing the poly count. I'll be optimising it later.
