 |  Every once in awhile I play around with Photoshop and goof off with Star Trek, changing uniform colors, create new images on the viewer, do FX shots that could've been done...but weren't. In my mind I call these things "Alter Trek". A sort of alternative reality. Over on the TrekBBS, a guy whose work I admire immensely, Dennis Baily, has posted some new "Star Trek" (You know how much I HATE "TOS" and "Classic Trek") uniforms. A sort of "re-imagining" of sorts. While this piece by me is no great work, from a not great photo, it's my attempt at trying to "realize" Dennis' designs as best I am able. The cuff stripes I simply could not do as he has, but the overall design is there. Enjoy!

| That Dennis Bailey guy is a damn talented fellow. I've got a couple of meshes he made for Lightwave, and they're purrrty sweet. Too bad they're a bitch on the processor, or I'd be using his refit 1701 for my "Final Frontier" redo. But it's damn nice to make pictures with.
