| The Dude  |  Couple things A couple of teaser images for the comic book/graphic novel I've been working on. I'm doing one a day this week for the major characters.

| Re: Couple things Last one. The story is a bit hard to condense, I suppose. The main characters are the five you see here in the teaser images - Benes and Nguyen, two detectives in a part of town that's not particularly nice. Benes' son, Alex, recently inducted into a local gang. "Wily" Willy, a reporter in the twilight of a mediocre career but who believes in what he does. And a vigilante no one has ever seen, most don't even believe he exists. One night, a man in an expensive suit is found beaten and murdered in a shitty part of town, but no one can identify him. His car is found burned, with the calling card of a new gang that's moving into town. The last place this gang took up roots ended up not being on any maps anymore. Who was this man? What was he doing there? Why was he killed? I've sort of been thinking of it like 'The Shield' meets 'Batman'. But like... without the cape and shit.
