![]() | Well, it looks like a few of us are using Terragen to build terrain models. This would be a good place for Q&A regarding this app. Are there any plugins that let you put houses or buildings into your terrain? Any plugins that let you insert boats or even aircraft? |

![]() | Here's a site that addresses BRYCE and some TERRAGEN issues and stuff. I just discovered it, haven't delved into it yet. http://www.ancientsites.com/aw/Board/97987 |

![]() | Well, I'm now hopelessly hooked on Terragen. I've gotten the plugins and am trying to figure out how to create buildings by modifying the bitmap by using a program called Wilbur. Haven't figured it out yet. I got a nice bitmap of the Andes mountains in Peru, added fall foliage to the surface map and flooded the mountain range until the mountains were nothing more than a bunch of islands. LW and TS files can be merged with Terragen. I think Bryce can be merged also. I figured out that I can add an image of a planet in my simplistic art program (pixia) by doing the picture as a series of layers with the terragen image as it's own layer, and anything else as a different layer. |

| Religious Fanatic | You know, it would be nice if people would share the URLs of where they get their cool progs/plug-ins...

![]() | Here's a site that seems to have the plugins for Terragen that I know about http://jamesrskemp.tripod.com/jms3terplugininfo.htm Waterworks, SOpack, Firmament and others I can't get Waterworks and LensFX to work yet... this is freeware after all. I joined a YahooGroups Terragen site to get the terrain maps, some of them don't work either. But that's where I got the Andes Mountain group terrain map. I found this stuff by typing "Terragen plugin" into Google. |
