 |  re-colored NX-01 bridge Someone mentioned that the NX-01 bridge could use more color, so I whipped this up:

| Yeah, I miss those red doors.. I remember in one of the Trek books Kirk mentioned that he missed the red doors, so when he got back to the ship, Scotty had them repainted! I guess the red doors didn't work on the earthtone D's bridge or the submarine-like NX-01. Seems to me though that if folks were going to be cooped up for years on these ships they'd make them look a little less depressing!

| Well, the ENT-D was all soothing tones because you were supposed to be relaxed at work or some bullshit. I never really got into that, and I'm glad they fixed it up for Generations, and ditched it entirely for DS9 and Voyager. The NX-01 on the other hand needs more colors and signs to make it look "take-no-chances" experimental.

| I loved the colors of the TOS ent. That was one of my biggest dissapointments with the NX-01. They should have done something along the lines of what you did that sort of foreshadows the 1701.

| Definitely. I just don't know why they didn't. A set detailed like that screams for big yellow warning signs and stuff like that. Probably more of Rick Berman's "tone EVERYTHING down" crap.

| Lovely. You ought to give the same treatment to the 1701-D bridge, Voyager bridge and (just for the hell of it)--see if DS9"s OPS can be 'TOSized'.
