Default How open are you?

Hypothetical situation, CNN and Al Jazeera cover a story about the American government. Let's say election Fraud. CNN leads with a story that tends to sway towards dismissing the accusations.

Al Jazeera on the other hand posts a story that leads you to believe the allegations are entirelyy possible. Neither organization makes any outrageous claims, or promotes any kind of sensationalism.

Who are you more likely to believe? Serious answers please, I'm not kidding about this.

I'g go for CNN, even though I think CNN is full of shit too, but unfortunately, due to the way Dubya is approaching the Middle East, which fuels their malice towards the west I trust the Arab media even less.

I don't know... Dubya (or his daddy rather) bought the last election I wouldn't find it so hard to believe that it was once again bought, especially when taken into account for all the absentee ballots that "didn't count" from our soliders over seas were votes for Kerry.

Also consider the fact that here in Ohio, a major player this election, people were denied the right to vote because they supposedly weren't registered, even though they had their regisration cards, and just so happens, these people were Democrats.

Well, Since the election came down to Ohio, I blame you cause you live there

But, I was watching the election shit all night, and some of the Bush voters (from Ohio) were total retards, when they were asked why they didn't want to vote Kerry they came back with answers like "Cuz I don't trust 'm whutz e evr dun fr us?"

Ok, now here's why I ask this, over the last few days I've been reading some other news sites (other than CNN.com) and I've noticed a story that CNN hasn't touched on. Maybe you wouldn't even consider it a story, but I'm sure we've all heard about the inconsistencies in the numbers for Ohio right. I.E there were more votes for Bush than there were registered voters, by a lot.

So why is it, that such a large news network (conglomorate?) wouldn't hit a story like that with everything they have. I'm starting to think that the media is being censored at levels we aren't aware of by the current U.S admin.

I don't wanna sound paranoid, but it's a travesty that such a respected organization would let the ball drop on this.

My father worked for NBC News for 40 years in their production area...he has stories that would make you never watch another minute of broadcast news. I told him to write a book, he won't but if he ever did..ohhh boy would the shit hit the fan.

Read Bernard Goldberg's book Bias if you want more info.

That's why I get so mad when I hear people criticizing Michael Moore about being biased. Well sure he's biased, but at least he's representing these "unknown" stories. He may be lending a huge helping of bias to the facts, but at least he's adressing them.

CNN and the other news organizations seem to have some unspoken of agreement not to write about or talk about these stories.
