![]() | Do you have the URL to SA's old website, the one with the sci-fi reviews and the action figure galleries? I had it once and lost it. I presume the site is still up, but countless Google searches have failed to locate it. I've tried the keywords "captain coffee" (I think it was captain), anyway, I've had no luck. Can you help out? |

![]() | Just happened to be online when you were answering this... Thanks, I never did get to really look through the site as extensively as I would have liked to in the past. Have a happy New Year's eve celebration if you're into that sort of thing. Cheers! |

![]() | Thanx, I'll be working too (boss better have a cash bonus or else > )I just did a search on The Wayback Machine and did find this link. Even if the site is no longer up and running, there is an archive of it http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...gastronaut.com Here is the link that I found for it, http://web.archive.org/web/200312261...astronaut.com/ it appears that the graphics are no more, but the text appears to be intact, but I can't stop to look at it now as I'm off to work, at least I located it. SA's website is one of the last virtual traces of him, aside from his posts scattered hither and yon. And to everyone else here at the AB... Happy New Year, may it be better than the previous 12 months! |

![]() | I'm glad that there is archiving such as this. Quite often, when we create something, we don't really think about it surviving into perpetuity. While many of the graphics are gone from his site, his work, his reviews and other stuff remain. The guy really was a sci-fi fan. There's an old saying that anything on the web never really disappears, I suppose this is true. And a side note to Bean, this is what spiders do. That post you made on TW three and a half years ago, accusing someone of typing with a plastic stick on his forehead, it's still there, somewhere in cyberspace ![]() |
