| The Awesome One | And the downward spiral begins. Well, I think we're seeing the first real abuse of some of those post 9/11 laws and such that the government "assured" you would be used only ti fight real terrorist threats..

| Patrons | Too right Bean. For some reason my mind floats back to Buffy the vampire slayer.... werewolves, vampires, zombies and other "creatures of the night" all of which envade a high school and here you have some high school girl going around killing them. GEEZ.... on the philosophy of that article, who ever came up with the concept of "Buffy the vampire slayer" is a terriost threat.

| The Awesome One | I'm just waiting for the inevitable "Well, so what if the law wasn't intended for this, as long as we protected our children from a potential threat, who cares how we did it." arguments to start. Kind of a "If the law is there, let's use it" kinda menatlity, which is where things are really gonna start t go to shit. If you follow the philosophy used here, there goes free speech. Once that's gone, you guys can kiss the rest of your rights goodbye as well. No offense to any of you, but I have never been so happy about not being American as I was when I read that article.
