I don't want to say that a lot of the posters on TW are a bit clueless or anything, but I went there this evening and looked at the article about the Borg Experience at the Star Trek Experience in Vegas. They proudly proclaimed it's in "4-D"! So a bunch of folks commented on it, and finally at the sixth or seventh post Brikar asked the big question that jumped right out after seeing the poster and reading the article: What the hell IS 4-D??? Just found it funny somehow. Must be the wine.

I almost vomited when they showed Voyager and not Enterprise on the poster for the ride, however. How sad.

Heh,

I saw that article. 4-D is a marketing ploy, designed to make kids say "COOOOOL!".

But it probably is cool, after all.

Someone responded saying that they thought it was the mixture of live-actors and filmed stuff, like the Terminator show down at Universal in Florida.

They should have called it a "holodeck", it would probably be about as accurate.

4-D ..... the next wave of bad animation on the net supplied by 14 yeasr olds with too much time on there hands and lotsa poop and fart jokes to toss around...... heh.....sorry...... just a lil bitterness towards several other boards I'm on and newgrounds

4-D might just be 3-D animation in 3-D(the glasses thing)..... that could be it, I heard it used like that before
