Makes no difference, since the cars you drive over there aren't the same as the one's everyone else has. Good example is Ford, when I was in florida the only Ford car I recognised was the Focus, and your Focus looks a bit different and drives totally different.

It depends. Many of the Volkswagens and BMWs are pretty much the same as the ones I saw over there. But good luck finding a Peugot in the States. And the Mini Cooper has been making its way into the US markets.

The BMWs will probably be the same but the VWs such as the Jetta were dramatically more overpowered in the States, I mean they had V6s and shit in them, and the suspension on them was a few centemeters higher.

Peugeot do some lovely cars. If and when I finally get a job, I may need to get a car, and at the moment Peugeot are toward the top of my list. Mind you, I'm looking for fuel efficiency first and foremost, so I guess that wouldn't be a consideration in the states ;-)
