You should put that IE Destroyer button on here.

What gets me is the reaction from noobs to the world of computing, when I try to show them FireFox, they resist it. Preferring instead to use IE or worse, the AOL interface.

Plus, I don't think that IE has support like Firefox does, for example, I present to you... PORNZILLA

Such a useful, but unofficial extension. Powerful too. I especially like the google site search button, and the fact that you can put it in the bookmarks button bar is awesome!

Let's see sweaty Steve Ballmer do that!

AOL? I cant' imagine anyone preferring that over even IE. I've never even met a person who was happy with AOL, yet so many of them continue to use it and complain.

I just use it to get online, and to IM my relatives. Aside from that, it's useless and infuriating. They keep on downloading more crap that takes up hard disk space and they call them improvements, but they never ask if I want the downloads, they make me wait for their download at the worst possible time, because when I'm going offline, I've usually spent too much time looking at stuff and I just want to turn it off and leave the house.

Fuck AOL, the very bane of my existence.

As bad as AOL is, AIM is a quality product, though it too occasionally suffers from the same problems Deslok described above.

(In my defense, I know other messengers can do more, but I've never been happy with their interface.)

I rarely upgrade my AIM because they keep adding useless features I don't like to clog things up. The pop-up notifications pissed me off so much it wasn't even funny.

To be perfectly honest with you, I've never even laid eyes on a system running AOL or AIM. I have no idea what the interface is like, nor do I care to find out.
