| Re: Possible cure for aids According to my friend, this won't cure AIDS, just the HIV virus that causes it.  If you get AIDS before getting rid of HIV, you're done.

| Re: Possible cure for aids It's my understanding that AIDS isn't HIV - they're different diseases, it's just that one leads to getting the other. It'd be like curing a cold after you've gotten the flu. But I'm no biologist... I'm going on vague memories from high school health classes here.
