Default A mysterious ressurection...

OK, around the summer of last year, my CDRW drive started to fuck up, it wouldn't read CD's and was writing a lot of dud CDs. The problems got worse and worse until eventually it was unsusable, and wouldn't even open without me pushing a paperclip into the manual eject thingy, so I disabled it. Earlier on, I decided to try it again, so I opened it with a paperclip, put a CD in and re-enabled the device. Now it opens and closes the way it's supposed to, and reads and writes discs perfectly. How weird is that?

I once knew a hippie who believed that machines have souls and consciousness. Maybe the CD/RW was mad at you!

Well...I did buy a DVD ROM drive last year, maybe he was jealous about not getting enough attention.
