| Religious Fanatic | See, I have no problem with their right to do this, but it still leaves me asking "why?".

![]() | I know that there is a clause in US patent law that recquires you to prosecute all infringements or the patent becomes invalid. Perhaps it is the same for copyright? Sue one, sue them all.

| The Awesome One | I don't know much about patent law, but something like that would make sense. Let's say Sony invented some world changing new technology, and for some reason wanted to pound Panasonic into the ground, what's to stop them from letting every other manufacturer infringe on the patent, but prosecute Panasonic for it, thereby putting them seriously behind the rest of the market. Kinda makes sense, but again, I know nothing about these things.

| The Awesome One | You mean the videos the people are using online? I dunno, I can see the RIAA point, it's really no different than uploading streaming MP3s to a publicly available site.. it's just that now you have video of some retard dancing or pretending to sing to go along with it.

| Religious Fanatic | Plus there's the issue of poor sound quality.
