| Religious Fanatic | This Pope thing's been pissing me off. We were watching all the pomp and shit on the TV at work the other day, and a few of us were cracking "Catholic Priest" jokes. But then someone said "Do you mind? that's my religion you're slagging off!", then a couple of other dudes joined in on that angle. So I said "That's funny, I'm sure I've never seen you pray or go to church, or express any guilt over nailing your girlfriend out of wedlock" "I'm not a practising Catholic." "Then you're not a Catholic" "Yes I am, my family is Catholic, I was christened in a catholic church" "That doesn't make you a Catholic, and considering you don't listen to a word that man says, you have no reason to be offended anyway." "Yes I do, I'm a Catholic, just not a practising Catholic." At which point I gave up and went back to reading my book. They should really make basic logic and reasoning a priority in schools. I'm not a practising member of an independent church, because I'm an atheist.

| The Awesome One | Even if they did put emphasis on teaching logic in schools it wouldn't matter. The single most effective weapon in the arsenal of organized religion is the ability to completely remove said logic skills from peoples brains.

| "It's a faaaake!" | Richard Dawkins made a great speech on this topic:

| The Awesome One | That was quite possibly the best speech I've listened to in a long time.
