   |  Anyone prepping for hurricane Isabel? My company closed three of its offices in the DC Baltimore area for today and tomorrow.

 | My university in downtown DC has cancelled classes for Thursday and Friday. Also, the university library, where I work Wednesday and Thursday nights, has largely shut down, giving me even more free time.

 | It's three AM here, and it's been raining for hours. Now I have to walk my dogs in the dark rain. The wind is blowing the wind chimes and one of my dogs knows that means there's a storm outside. He hates storms. I'll have to drag him out the front door.

| 3 am, if i remember correctly (I was in and out of sleep) that was pretty much when it was at its worst here in NY. I hope you were able to stay dry AND pick up after your dogs
