| It's me again | Man, it has been a little quiet around hear lately. I've resorted to going back to TW from time to time to post with the TREK zealots over there. Please, come back..is there anyone out there???

| Astro-Monkey | Well, personally: My aunt was diagnosed with cancer this summer. She has very little in terms of support, and she doesn't have a reliable car. So, every vacation I've had has been to help her out in some way. This is a huge blow to me, as she and I have had a great relationship, we're a lot alike, and it's only been two years since cancer killed my Grandfather. I have been out of work since January, and I might just have a job lined up. If I get it, I'll be moving, so I've also been looking for an apartment. I'm planning on going back to school next year for another 3 years while I pursue a law degree. This Saturday I have my first step towards that goal, my LSAT test. I also need to replace this forum with something that Dax can post on. So, I've been looking for a forum that isn't three steps behind this one.

| The Awesome One | Well, I've been working alot lately and I do have two kids... Also, I have no internet connection at home, fortunatle this issue will be resolved as I am getting DSL as of friday. Also, I still have a rather sour taste in my mouth after the whole O.Deus debate.

Good luck on the LSATs, you'll do fine. I took them a couple of years ago when it looked like I need to go to law school to advance my career, but I then changed jobs. It now looks like I may have to go anyway. That's what I get for working in the claims division of an insurance carrier. What's the issue with Daxie and the forum? Is it because she uses webTV? Well if I don't talk to you before Saturday, kick ass on the LSATs. We really don't need more lawyers, but you can fall back on it if this whole web thing falls apart

Yeah, you better get that DSL hooked up, you have some posting to do now that Cymro is MIA. As far as the sour taste in your mouth...Bro', let that go. It was a while ago. I just went back and read the discussion over that and I totally get your point. But you validate that guy from TW even more so by letting him disrupt the good times we are having around here. He came, posted once or twice, left, and created strife among us. Believe me, I have no love for that person either and if you need someone to stand beside you and batter the hell out of him, I'm the man. But he is not worth letting you harbor ill feelings over the policy discussions that took place. Try and think 'big picture'. If Vis's comments back then seemed harsh, dude, read Ariks post above and then compare the timing of his aunt's illness and the timing of the discussions on policy. I wouldn't be in the best of moods either. Before that whole incident you and I never really intereacted. Before that I thought you were a little snippy, but now I know better and now follow your philosophy. Bean, the reason I enjoy coming here is that there is some really witty, intelligent conversations flying around these boards and you are a contributor to this. Everyone here gets it, even you. ![]() Look, let it go if you can. If a similar situation should pop up again, we'll address it then. Otherwise, let me put my arm around you and give you a big hug. Here, how about a glass of kool-aid?

| Astro-Monkey | Thanks. Yeah, Daxie can't get on because of WebTV, and I can't find another forum that I don't have to mod to get basic functionality out of. Well, I can, but that's another story. Quote:

| The Awesome One | Actually, I should clarify, I hold no ill will to Arik, we sorted that aspect of it out back then. I hold no direct ill will against any patrons, it's just a "bad taste".
