Hi guys.

I know I've asked a couple of you this in private, but I'm wondering if there's any continued interest in having a site to display artwork/stories?

While I'm at it, Des mentioned a desire to return to having a news-magazine type site. I killed the last one because my access logs said most people weren't using it. What would the interest be in doing another one?

And since I have your attention, is there anything that you want?

Yeah, since alot of the members here have alot of talent, it would be nice to see some of the work.

Granted it is not used as much as it could be, it still is a nice to have feature.

Can you combine the fiction and art boards?

Since I am unfamiliar as to how these things work, does it cost extra money, equipment, time, etc... to keep them up? Or are you just looking to do some housekeeping?

Sorry, I must not have explained myself as goodly as possible.

I'm not talking about dumping a bunch of pictures into a forum post. I'm talking about something outside of the forum. If there was interest, something could be set up.

Actually Stag, you may not even know about the 'old' website (which keeps kicking this place's ass in Google). Cujo didn't have the time to keep it up, and I can do something more automated. So, what I'm wondering if there's any interest in something like that. And/or what Deslok wanted. And/or anything else that folks might want.

Just as a further note, the old site will soon be no more, in order for me to make room for my new stuff.

A new site for the art\writing would be the shit! While I'm stumping for new stuff for Booze!, I occasionally create something that's cool, but not a comic. Keenspace want's sequential art (comics), and doesn't want people using their sites to display non-comic art. So, HELL YEAH!! I'd like a new site for everyone's stuff!

I think getting the creative side of the Astro Bar back in full force may be a much needed shot in the arm. Hopefully we'll get some new creators in, once they see that there's a bit more here than they may realize. Back in the day, we had the Fan Fic forum, but we also had the website with our stuff on it. These days, there are probably newer patrons who don't even realize that that sites there. Or was there.

So I'm totally for a new site for the stuff.
