So, this time last year I got hurt at work and twisted my knee real bad. I go to the hospital, get x-rays, everythig looks normal.

Next day I go to a private doctor, he gets me in for an MRI. The MRI shows a bruise on my bone, they said it was normal for this kind of injury.

So, I'm on crutches and have a knee brace for several weeks. By the time the doctor says I'm cured, I tell him that I'm still having problems with my knee giving out and it still hurts. "Don't worry" he says, "it can take 6 months to a year before it's fully healed".

OK, so a year later, I'm still having problems with my knee hurting and giving out.

I go to another doctor. He takes new x-rays, compares them to my old ones and the old MRI.

Well, guess what? I've been walking around for a year with a dislocated knee cap!

Now I have to go to physical theropy, wear a knee brace again, take cordizone(sp?) shots and might have to have surgery. All because the first doctor couldn't see my knee cap was dislocated.

This SUCKS!

That's why I don't go to doctors.

LOL! Yeah... I don't go to doctors unless I have to.

The main reason I had to go is #1 - it happened at work (and I'm sure they were only intrested in making me take a piss test rather than if I was OK)
#2 - I coldn't stand up or walk after I twisted my knee.

I think the first doc is on the company's payroll (that's where they sed everybody who gets hurt) and just said nothing was wrong with me so the company didn't have to pay out big bucks in medical bills. HA! Fooled them! In Ohio you have the right to request a second doctor if you feel you're not getting the treatment you need.... :-P on them!

Well, at least worker's comp is picking up the tab for this one.
