Booze! Comics is over a year old! I missed my own anniversary! Of course I haven't done shit with it this year, though I'm working on stuff. The next strip will be a continuation of Moon Squad, and I'm thinking of getting it it's own site. Still working that out though. All the CGI stuff will be easier once I have all the props built.

Plus, while I wasn't here to mention it, I self published the first paper edition of Booze! here in Houston. Most of it was stuff that appeared on the website, but in B\W, so you didn't really miss anything. Only made 15 copies, but the local bad ass comic shop is carrying it at all three of their locations, which span Houston. There's one on the far north, far south and one in the city proper. The shop down the street from me, had it as one of their "picks of the week". Which was cool. And it's cooler than shit having my stuff for sale in a store. Though it's weird knowing that if I walked out, I could be busted for shoplifting my own book!

This comic shop is VERY, VERY supportive of indy material, and of local artists who have a book. I can't thank them enough for making it so damn easy to put out a book. If it's a comic, they'll put it on their shelf.

The problem I face now is creating material for TWO publications. One online, one paper. I want the material in the paper edition to be exclusive to the paper edition (for now) because I need to give people a reason to buy the book. There will always be those who prefer paper over online, but I want to give them more of a reason to buy. If the stuff is in color, and free online, there's no real reason to buy the book, unless you're in the shitter and you don't have a lap top computer to play with.

I'll be waiting for the book to go national so I can buy it here... although I do know someone in Tx. •the gears are starting to turn•

That's gonna be so awsome when you're doing the convention tours signing autographs... your gonna be a big shot someday soon :-)
