| It's me again | I do alot of traveling for work, and I was in a bookstore in some shitty little town in NJ a few months back, one of the sales people recommended the series to me. I was very hesitant as I am not into the whole Area 51, Roswell thing. However, as I was living a pathetic existence at that time consisting of hotel food and endless hours of TV at night, I bought the first book. Well, granted, it is not great sci-fi, but it is entertaining and does pass the time. The concept is basically, these aliens lived on Earth thousands of years ago, had a civil war and some remained. They were behind the all the great mysteries of Earth -- who built the pyramids, etc.... Anyone else read these books?

| Religious Fanatic | Never heard of the series, but it kinda sounds like Stargate could have been influenced by it, or vice verca, how old is the book?

| Religious Fanatic | That acctually could be. Cause the Stargate film came out in like '95, I think, and the original drawing of the alien that Ra was kinda looked like the Roswell Aliens (this was forgotten for the series cause it made more sense for them to be snakes). And of course, the Asgard who are SG1's roswell aliens were the ones who founded the whole Viking theology...
