The Adult Swim Schedule

The AS forum is buzzing about it. You know, "Bring back Futurama you ####heads!" It may be back, with the last set of eps. from Fox, but for right now, they've replaced it with Home Movies.

I only caught a random episode; I was looking forward to seeing some episodes from the second season (or...episodes not out of my DVD set)

Damn it!!!

I think the problem was that it was on at 11pm, here in NY they run the Simpsons at 6 and 7pm, I think Futurama would have done just as well in that time slot.

By the way, did they ever promote the show?? The only reason I watched it was because I found it by accident one night.

Futurama was promoted before it came out and about halfway thru it's first season Fox kinda pulled the plug on the commercials and treated it like the Family Guy

Yeah, I know that, but I was talking about the syndication. I didn't know it was even in syndication.

Yeah, they promoted it, but you'd have to be watching a Ted Turner network to see 'em.

You see, Sky Promotes Futurama, but puts it on at stupid times against popular programs like Coronation Street and Eastenders. And, since most of the retards who populate the world nowadays won't get the smart people jokes anyway, shows like Futurama are doomed. I think the reason Simpsons got so popular was that even though it was a show targeted at adults, and had a lot of smart people jokes, it also had a lot of stuff kids would find funny, which I'm sorry to say would have made most adults like it.

This CNN article from today must be out of date. But hey, pretty cool that Futurama made the front page of CNN.com:

Good article, too.

Tomorrow's Adult Swim Schedule

So...apparently it's back.

Of course, now I'm pissed because I missed the final episode. :cus:

Guess I'll have to wait for it to hit the file sharing networks...
