As a fan of these guys from my youth, I am certainly awaiting to see how this might turn out. Very interesting idea for sure!

Sorry Trekker... thats old news, I guess I shoulda posted it here since there had to be another Transformers fan here besides me.

Oh, and you should check out the new comics by Dreamwave! Its a good read, I don't collect comics, but I'm all about the nostalgia of it.

I got the DW G1 series when it came out, and it was pretty sweet. I hate thise new "Armada" crap, gimme the old-school Transformers anyday.

When they say "live-action" for the movie, they really mean live people and CG transformers.

I haven't... but I haven't had time to get to the comic shop, recently. I've been taking two classes, and during the summer, that's a lot of class and it takes up most of my day. But, thankfully, this is the final week and I'll be able to work more and have free time until the end of August before the semester starts up!

Y'know, the CGI stuff based on the old Transformers seemed kinda lacking to me, the same with Voltron. I still haven't seen CGI used convincingly in anything that isn't more than a few seconds long.

I always liked the Transformers that turned into cars and trucks, but I never liked the ones that turned into dinosaurs or boom-boxes. I think one of them turned into a gun that was held by another Transformer.

That would be Megatron, the villain.
