Just opened a DVD rental acount with Amazon

£9.99 a month and i get 6 DVD's, with all the P&P for free.

I figured I might as well go for the whole series with them. I got oceans 11 cause I saw the sequel a few weeks ago without seeing the first one, of course the only forseesable downside is MATT DAMON. I plan on making my way through TOS and DS9, but my list is full for the next 6 months or so as it is. I've never been much of a movie person but the recent addition of a DVD player in my bedroom has got me interested. Any reccomendations are VERY welcome. Keep in mind that when most people discuss films I have absolutely no idea what they're on about.

If you want a recommendation on a good tv series to get into, try the Sopranos. I've watched the entire series exclusively on DVD and loved every minute of it.

Oh, definitely. I just finished the fourth season. What a fantastic finale that was. Edie Falco (Carmella) deserved every award she got.

"The Last Samurai" and "Brotherhood of the Wolf" come to mind only because aside from "Blade: Trinity", they're the last two movies I watched. Both were quite good, but I highly recommend watching "Brotherhood of the Wolf" in the original French. I don't know if the English dub in the UK would be any different, but the Region 1 dub is horrible.
