    |  OK, Just watched Firefly episodes 8-11 And I like it thrice as much...please remind me why Fox cancelled it?

| Wow, a show's really gonna get good viewership if most of the potential viewers are either out drinking or doing something with their families.

| It was Friday nights at 8 pm on Fox. Fox aired the episodes vastly out of order. The two hour PILOT was aired last as a "special two-hour Firefly finale event".

| Who decides these things, and more importantly, why did Whedon even bother with Fox, what with their track record and all?

| Both "Buffy" and "Angel" were distributed by Fox. The WB had dropped "Buffy" and seemed to be actively attempting to sabotage "Angel" by shifting it around to every timeslot under the sun. Fox actually courted Whedon to produce a show for their network, but then the execs apparently didn't like what he delivered.
