| The Awesome One | Just watched Batman Begins and holy shit. Movie of the summer at least. Loved it. THIS is the way Batman needed to be protrayed. I think the scene where he's holding the crooked cop upside down over the alley and yells "SWEAR TO ME!" was exactly the kind of thing they needed to do with Batman. Not angry, or tragic. Just downright scary. Oh, and the foreshadowing on the Joker was perfect at the end ![]()

![]() | I'll repeat my earlier post: "This. Movie. Fucking. Rocks." Going to see it again tonight.

| The Awesome One | I actually downloaded it. After watching a really decent cam version, I"m really tempted to go see it in the theatre. The only thing I thought was missing was the Batman theme from the previous movies and the animated series. I don't think it should have been playing throughout the movie, but at the very end when Gordon is talking to Batman.

![]() | This is one you should pay for. Unlike that travesty of a Star Wars "movie".

![]() | Mmmmmmm trout...... Shitty Star Wars movies aside, "Batman Begins" is totally worth paying to see on a big damn screen. I'm thinking of seeing at the IMAX. "Spider-Man 2" rocked when it was 6 stories tall.

| The Awesome One | We have no Imax around here. If we did I would absolutley go for that. But for some reason I have more trouble justifying the expense of going to the theatre, even though this movie is the best comic book adaptation since the first Spiderman.

![]() | That's too bad. I've actually got FOUR Imax theatres within a decent range... twenty minutes for one and forty for another, and two more in Boston that I could just take the train for $1.25. Although, the one at the Museum of Science only shows educational films. Some of those are pretty good, though. I saw one about climbing Mount Everest that was really interesting.
