![]() | Wednesday nights at 9pm (eastern). Anyone else seen it? From Tim Minear, who produced "Angel" and "Firefly" and created "Wonderfalls". This show's like watching "Law and Order" if "Law and Order" had been created by Joss Whedon. This week's episode was pretty interesting, with a criminal dubbed a "pre-filer", who has all the skills and intelligence of the FBI's criminal profilers, except he's using them to murder people who will soon become criminals themselves. So now the team wonders if they should even be trying to catch this guy - he's doing them a favor, right? Or should they because, technically, the "victims" haven't committed a crime? The ending to the episode seemed a little pedestrian compared to the excellent build-up of the first few acts, but still a good hour of television. There's also an homage to "Buffy" in the first few minutes of the show. There's a scene with Adam Baldwin's FBI agent Danny and a young boy he's trying to protect that's absolutely GOLD. An excellent way to help fill the void between "The Dead Zone" on Sundays and "Battlestar Galactica" on Fridays... and waiting to see "Serenity" (again) in September.

| "It's a faaaake!" | If it's on Fox, it will probably be canceled in short order, like Firefly and Point Pleasant.

![]() | I know... which is why I'm almost reluctant to keep watching it since I enjoy it more every time.

| "It's a faaaake!" | Why does Fox bother producing shows like this if it's only going to cancel them without giving them any chance? ![]()

![]() | I've honestly got no clue. But if I were Tim Minear, after "Firefly", "Wonderfalls" and now "The Inside," I don't think I'd be very anxious to stick with any kind of deal he's got going with them.

| The Awesome One | You would think that ANY producer or creator would be hesitant to deal with Fox.
