![]() | I just noticed that iTunes 6.0 allows you to purchase episodes or seasons of TV shows. They don't have much, just "Lost", "Desperate Housewives" and "Night Stalker" and "That's So Raven" so far. I just bought an episode of "Lost" that I missed last week to see if this is worthwhile or not. It cost $1.99 per episode, and says that I "own" that video. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

![]() | OK, so for $1.99, I got an episode of "Lost". It downloads a 200mb MPEG-4 file, with a 128k bitrate. Keeping the video at it's normal size is OK, but when you view it full-screen, the quality is less than if I'd downloaded an HD-TV rip off the Internet. For that reason, I probably won't use this iTunes option so much. But it's nice to see that we're moving in that direction, I think. With more shows, and higher quality files, I'd be all over it.

![]() | Yeah, I noticed that as well. It looks like they got rid of the iPod Mini, too, which is a shame because that's the one I want. I don't want the Shuffle, and the Nano seems to have too many problems at the moment and the standard iPod is simply too big and expensive.

![]() | Meh. All of my music is in WMA - I'd rather have a Creative for half the cost than an IPod Mugger Magnet. IPod - a triumph of style over substance.
