Superman Returns teaser!

Anyone catch this tonight? This link is for a not-so-hot quality one that showed up a bit before the TV broadcast, but a high quality one should be up sometime at the movie's website.

It was pretty tasty, for a teaser. I love the last bit.

The crowd, looking up into the sky, with Jor-El's voice over: "They can be a great people, Kal-El. They wish to be."

And the shot of Supes looking down at the Earth from orbit... sweeeet.

The music is what made the trailer for me. That has to be the best use of music in a teaser trailer I've seen in a LOOOOOOONG time.

I didn't think it was very well-made, from an editing standpoint. The music was awesome and Jor-El's voice-over was a nice effect, but the visuals were lacking, IMO. I didn't see enough "cool."

I thought both the Jor-El voice-over and the scene with Superman looking down on Earth were enough "cool". Personally, I like the minimal teaser/trailers.

On a related note, I watched Batman Begins on DVD last week. Does anyone else love that film?
