| Religious Fanatic | Serenity cost $40 million to make, grossed $25 million in America and $37 million worldwide. Forgive my ignorance in these matters, but was that a success, and if so, was it enough to justify some sort of follow up?

| "It's a faaaake!" | In the sense it made back its budget in theatrical release, and will undoubtedly make more when it's released on DVD, I'd say it was a success. Whether that will lead to a sequel is another matter.

![]() | It made back its production budget, but you have to remember that Universal pumped at least several million more into advertising. The DVD will sell like hotcakes (in fact, it already is a preorder bestseller on Amazon.com) but it's theatrical run wasn't very successful at all. It wasn't an outright bomb like "The Island", though.

| The Awesome One | If there is any follow up, I would think it'll be a straight to dvd release as opposed to a theatrical feature. Or maybe they could go the Farscape and B5 method and have occasional TV movies/mini series'.
