Default Stargate Atlantis

So I've gotten myself hooked on SG Atlantis recently. Xmas eve I sat down and went through the first 14 episdoes of season 2. I found that once I got used to Shepard as "not just an Oneil knockoff" it's a really good show.

So I've seen basically none of the first season eps, anyone know where I can download them? My cable company has everything that's been aired for season 2 on demand. Really cool service from Rogers, it's basically pay per view for tv series, but I only pay 20 bucks a month, and each viewing is free. I can fast forward, pause, rewind etc like I had a DVR. Anyways, they only start at season 2 for Atlantis, so, any links?

I liked Season 1 more than I like this season. SG-1 season 9 is my favourite though (and it starts back tonight with BSG season 2!)

I only saw the first episode. While I thought it was moderately entertaining, I just found myself not watching it.

I had a hard time getting into it this season after the 3-parter.

Now that I am, though, I'm enjoying it again.

No. Stargate isn't as intellectual and isn't a pop culture phenomenon, it's just an entertaining Sci-Fi show with consistent viewership that justified a spin-off. Stargate is like the ACDC of Sci-Fi, it doesn't try to be clever and sticks to what it knows.

I just picked up Season 1 of "Atlantis". I didn't really expect to, but it was on sale for dirt cheap - $30 as opposed to $50. I watched the whole thing yesterday and today. (I also grabbed SG-1 Season 7 for $18)

I wasn't really blown away by it... until the final six episodes. Holy shit. The approaching armada injected the show with a sense of urgency that it was lacking previously. And "The Siege" - jesus that's huge. You expect to watch something that big in a theatre or maybe a series finale. But the end of the first season? Christ.

Definitely going to have to catch up on Season 2, now. At the very least to watch the resolution of this cliffhanger until the DVD set comes around.
