| The Awesome One | Ok, so now the Wraith not only are aware that Atlantis survived, but they've mysteriously only sent one hive ship after it. Some kind of plot twist is definitely coming from this, because they stressed the fact so much that there's only one. Not to mention, we finally have an Ancient warship. I was so dissapointed when they had to destroy the Aurora... Oh and of course, best quote of the season in Episode 19 when they're talking about renaming the ship: Shepherd: "and no we're not naming it Enterprise." Beautiful!

Is 18 the one with Trip as the Wraith? That one was great, but they could have done with focusing more on the fact that if the only way humans could stay alive was by feeding on sentient life forms we'd be doing exactly the same, though we might not be as sadistic about it.

![]() | Didn't they do that on an SG-1 episode about the rights of the Goa'uld to take human hosts?

| Religious Fanatic | The Tok'Ra kinda proved that they could co-exist peacefully without mass enslavement. If you became host to a Tok'Ra you got the benefit of better health and a longer life without loosing your free will, even if the Tok'Ra were portrayed as jerks in later seasons. The Gou'auld could have done the same, but didn't. The Wraith kill to live, they cannot co-exist peacefully with humans.

![]() | I felt the Tok'Ra were always portrayed as jerks, personally. Aside from the couple of characters we were meant to get close to, like Carter's dad and the dude that nearly assassinated the President, they were kinda elitist assholes. No matter how many times SG-1 saved their asses, they were like, "Yeah, sorry, you're still just kids." I completely sympathized with O'Neill's attitude towards them.

| Religious Fanatic | True, but Carter's dad himself said repeatedly that Earth just wasn't ready for the kind of technology they were using, which was true. But the point is that the Tok'Ra were good, even if they were a bit snooty.

![]() | I'm not saying they weren't good... just that they were assholes.
