![]() | Ro will appreciate this, as will anyone that likes Alternative music. And by Alternative, I mean in the way that it originally meant: music that didn't fit any of the established definitions. I guess these days it's classified as Adult Alternative. Whatever. Anyway... a Chicago radio station called WXRT (93.1 FM) is the epitome of Alternative/Adult Alternative music. And you can stream it via an AOL plugin (yeah, AOL blows, but what ya gonna do?) for Internet Explorer (ditto). I mention all of this because XRT just started a Flashback Weekend. Each hour it will play the music (XRT music, mind you) from a given year, from 1967-1993. It started at noon (central time) and will go until 6 PM Sunday. If yer interested, go to http://www.wxrt.com and click on the Listen Live/AOL for Broadband link. You get some commercials over the feed, but for the most part, you just get some music snippets during commercial breaks. LLaP
