The only lawsuit against it should be from all the men of the country who object to being riddiculed by the "First Network for Men" slogan that perpetuates the negative stereotype that all (real) men are brainless hulks of flesh.

I wish TNN/Spike TV would just die already.

Arikl.. I'm offended you find that all so offensive... you never watched a crappy action movie purely for the rush then for the story or....GACK!...romance. C'mon man, the whole network is kindof a joke.. then again so are the 5 networks dedicated to women.. I say it's about time we getta man network.. more TnA,more Beer, more explosions, robots, midgets, clowns, TnA, guns, and lotsa stuff I can't think of at 8:15 am

What's the big deal? There's a niche station for everyone else, why can't there be a "manly man's" station? There's THREE feminist women's stations for crying out loud...

ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports, ESPN Classic, etc. That's my niche network.

My comments were intended to be tongue in cheek, but I can't help notice that all they've really got is an even crappier version of UPN that they call a 'man's network'. A network which, I believe, thrives on the young teenager demographic.

Personally, I would find it funny if all they attracted were elderly hispanic lesbians; would they still call it 'the first network for men?'

Hey, now there's a market waiting to be exploited!

I admit I find the SpikeTV "manly man" thing kind of silly, but I'm not everyone, and I'm sure there's folks out there that'll watch. TNN was in a death spiral ratings-wise and they're just trying to stake out ground that'll get folks to watch, even if they're being a bit over the top about it.

As for me, I was watching preseason NFL football last night, being a football junkie. Of course it helps that my wife is a football fan too.

If you saw there new line-up of exclusive cartoons... well... the spiral continues...
