![]() | Let's make this a weekly gig, eh? Not an amazing episode by any stretch, but Rodney McKay might be one of the funniest characters ever created. The running gag about his real name was fantastic. I also like that McKay's sister wasn't cast as some super-model hot physicist. Good call on that one.

| Religious Fanatic | I haven't seen it yet, but I think the fact that we feel compelled to discuss these episodes every week marks an upswing in the show's quality this season.

| Astro-Monkey | It was a fun episode. The ending suprised me, given the episode's small scale. But, I still really enjoyed watching it. And, I agree about the casting. Casting David Hewlett's sister was brilliance. ![]()

| Religious Fanatic | The ending actually was quite a shocker, and as usual, McKay is used to great effect.

| Religious Fanatic | SG-1 was quite nice too. I'd like to see some kind of follow up with that Don Stark character.

| Religious Fanatic | Usually, I'm not either, but this one was different, it had some emotional resonance, and some kick ass action.

![]() | Yeah, Black works so well with Shanks. They have fantastic chemistry. My one issue with the "Atlantis" episode was that the characters seemed unconcerned with letting the other Rodney stay in their universe. I'm not sure how long Alt-Rod was there, but shouldn't they be worried about that "quantum entropy" or whatever that happened to Carter? It seems like something McKay would know about.

And yeah, I enjoyed the episode. I was amazed at the ending though. I was expecting the other McKay to be some kind of impostor, possibly one of the Assurians or something. Instead they completley screwed themselves. Pretty big stakes for such a small episode. And I do have to say that the scene between Mckay and his sister at the end was pretty well done. I almost got a little choked up even.
