| The Awesome One | For those of you who haven't, the premise for the pilot os pretty simple. The small town of Jericho is cut off from the rest of the world after they witness a mushroom cloud in the distance. The phones/radio/tvs etc go dead. Eventually the power goes out. What makes for real tension is nobody (not even the viewers) knows what's going on. I loved it. It was great and I can't wait to see the next episode.

![]() | What kind of legs do you see it having as a series?

| The Awesome One | Actually pretty good. Although it seems to be faced with the same skepticism as Prison Break was originally. I.E how long can they stretch this plan to break out for. With Jericho it seems that maybe we spend the first season getting little tidbits of info on what's happened and then go from there. Only having watched the first episode, obviously you don't get a feel for wether the writers have a specific direction to go or not, but only watching the first episode it seems (like prison break) to be a show you don't want to jump into in the middle of the season. Anyways, I think it's worth checking out.

![]() | I just watched it, and I agree. It was pretty entertaining, and I'll check out the next episodes to see if I want to stick with it. I thought the first ten or fifteen minutes were fairly "meh", but it started moving after that and I really got caught up in what was going on. I still get the feeling that this premise is probably more suited to a mini-series, but there are enough elements introduced in the pilot that a full season doesn't seem like too much of a stretch - like you said with "Prison Break". Good call, Bean. Though, did you happen to notice that it seemed like Skeet Ulrich's facial hair was getting longer and shorter as the episode went on?
