| The Awesome One | Just watched this last night, and it was a fucking blast. The essential plot is that a group of marines (with a tank) roll into town saying that the federal government has been restored, and they're in Kansas to assess reparations priorities. Turns out by the end of the episode, that tey aren't actually marines, but civillians from a refugee camp who comandeered Marine equipment left behind during a retreat from a rioting group of refugees. They've been travelling from town to town masquerading as Marines to try a bilk the towns out of food, supplies and gas. The B story is with Hawkins. His situation with Sarah finally comes to a head. He discovers her text messaging device and what she's been doing. Turns out she's not even working for the people she's in contact with, but has gone rogue and wants the nuke so she can sell it. By the end of the episode, Hawkins family leaves him, and Sarah is dead. From the getgo, it was entirely obvious that the Marines would be gone by the end of the episode. If the story they were telling was true, there's no way the series could continue. And eventually I pieced together that they were eiither impostors, or marines gone rogue. Still, it was fun. There were no real revelations in the episode that we can be sure about, as once caught, the "marines" told Johnston that the stories they were telling were partially made up, partially heard along the way. With Hawkins as well, no real revelations. A big plot changer was his family leaving him though, as well as his decision at the end of the episode to use the now dead Sarahs comm device to impersonate her in what is obviously a very good way for him to obtain more info, and possibly bring the hunt for him to an end. The big plot changer, and my personal favourite part of the episode, is the new toy that Stanley has parked in his barn. A tank! Yes, Jericho is now armed with heavy armor!! YAYYYYY!!!! You KNOW this is gonna be used in some future episode, they can't avoid it. There's just no way. All in all, it wasn't the best Jericho episode ever, but it was a good one. It is actually nice to get away from the complex storylines and questions for an episode and do what is probably the closest thing to an "Episode in a bottle" that Jericho has done to date.

![]() | Just saw this one. The marines were pretty transparent, but the idea of it was sound. I think maybe I'd have liked it better as a two-parter. But having the tank is supah-sweet.

| The Awesome One | My girlfriend has started watching it with me, and at the end of the episode all I could do was look at her and say "They have a fucking TANK!".

![]() | These last two episodes were pretty good. I'm glad the show's getting into the fact that people are freezing and starving instead of having barbecues in the town square. This second half of the season is definitely picking up. Hawkins is the man.

![]() | Those were some hefty revelations regarding Hawkins and the (possible) mastermind behind the attacks. Let's hope the last few episodes live up to that promise.

| The Awesome One | I know, wasn't that great. I only hope now that it all turns out to be true, and Hawkins isn't spinning another story to Jake.
