| The Awesome One | So a few things... first of all, I'm back to not enjoying the Baltar religious plot again. Even after last weeks excellent developments in regards to how Baltar himself perceives it. They seem to have jumped him from grudgingly saying what he thought needed to be heard, into full fledged religious dimwit. The "head Baltar" development was peculiar to say the least. If we don't get a wrap up and explanation of what that's about by the series end, I think I may have to kill someone. The "hidden models" on BSG deciding to try and seek out Baltars aid in finding the final model seemed a little too contrived and against their characters. Really, can you honestly say that given his development over the last three seasons that Colonel Tigh would have agreed to it so quickly? He hates Baltar almost as much as he hates the Cylons (ironic no?) whom he still appears to have no affinity for. Starbuck... wow, what to say. She's gone mad. I really sympathized with her though. The president in the past, has risked the entire human species on what common sense would tell us was a few dreams. Dreams she had I might add, while she was on strong medication that seemed to have LSD like side effects. And here she is totally unwilling to believe that something like that could happen to anyone else. Adama was right when he said that she was scared that she "isn't that important" anymore. I did like the confrontation between him and Starbuck in the brig though, and was pleased with the resolution to the conflict at the end. And then, there's the saving grace of the episode. The Six/Cavil scenes. All throughout the "discussions" they had about the Raiders behavior, I assumed it would lead to A few of the models defecting to the human fleet ala Athena. Wow, when she brought the Centurions in at the end and basically told him that they were pissed off... holy dorkasm. We've seen far too little use of the Centurions throughout this show, but to bring them in now, like this? Perfection. Oh, and on that note, the revelation that I almost missed, was my favourite part of the episode. The Raiders weren't ordered to end the attack last week. They REFUSED to continue it. So to sum it up, there was more bad than good, but the good was good enough to make up for it. Not a stellar episode, but certainly an entertaining one. I just hope that RDM isn't making a mistake by starting up all these subplots this late in the game. But I have faith.

Who knows? Baltar...I am accepting this storyline so far, but it better start making a little more sense sooner or it will border on nonsense. Oh and anyone taking bets that Lee will soon be President setting up a conflict with his father?

![]() | Well, we've known for a while that the raiders were part biological, and if the centurions are all mechanical then I find no problem with the self-restraint gizmo. After all, the original mechanical Cylons had to achieve sentience and rebel against the humans so there's not really an issue with the newer model Cylons wanting to keep the centurions in check.

| Religious Fanatic | I'm pretty sure all the Cylons are supposed to be part-biological, and I'm pretty sure I've seen blood come out of shot Centurions. I wasn't keen on the idea that the other Cylons had their higher reasoning functions blocked though, I mean they fought a war to be free of slavery and then just became slaves to better versions of themselves?

| The Awesome One | The self restraint gizmo makes sense from a plot point though. Because if we're going to have a civil war between Cylons, then the Cavils etc.. are gonna need Centurions on their side. And it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense if half the Centurions rebelled and the other half didn't. They are after all programmed the same way. On the other hand you're right. It would have been much cooler if the raiders had have basically asked for help from the Centurions.
