On a serious note, everyone tends to exaggerate the "younger audience" thing with all kinds of ridiculous claims.

Heard the SG:U team was going to have an older stodgy white guy, a hip black or hispanic guy, a physically challenged member - likely wheelchair bound, a gay and woman who is really bright but gets little recognition or appreciation for her work. The gay character right now is in flux, they may replace or re-write using highly intelligent for his age pr-teen/early teen.
