Default Re: Fringe

I love "Lost" and I loved the early seasons of "Alias", I really dug "Mission: Impossible III" and "Transformers", but this show lost me about halfway through the pilot. I was bored silly watching it. It's like "X-Files", if you strip away everything that was good about "X-Files" (like, I dunno, subtlety) and add the wise-ass kid from "Dawson's Creek". I knew going in that it was going to be an obvious rip-off of "X-Files", but I didn't think they'd be so blatant about it. Even the opening title sequence seems designed to say, "Look! We're like 'X-Files'! Remember 'X-Files'???"

You should definitely seek it out. The DVDs can be had for cheap as hell nowadays.
