| Astro-Monkey | ...in case you're into that kind of thing. First look at the Battlestar Galactica: Online trailer! | SCI FI Wire Of course, being a game trailer, it doesn't showcase any actual gameplay.

| Religious Fanatic | I wouldn't buy a Galactica game unless it was written by someone off the show, and at the very least featured the actors from the opening credits. But unfortunately, Galactica isn't a strong enough franchise for that kind of money to be spent on it, and licensed games are usually a cheap cash cow (exceptions like ST:Armada, Goldeneye etc. are rare). Which is a shame, because the storylines and overall quality of the writing in video games have improved a lot over the last ten years, and I'd love to see a Star Trek game that had the same kind of thought put into it's script as GTA IV. MMO is probably the last video game genre I'd associate with Galactica.

| "It's a faaaake!" | Cymro, have you checked out the Mass Effect games? They present a rich sci-fi universe that I in some ways prefer to Star Trek.

| Religious Fanatic | I haven't. I'll wait for Steam to do a bundle.

| The Awesome One | My issue with a MMO for Galactica is that Galactica's storyline was completed in every sense of the word. There was really nowhere to go with it after the finale. You "could" do something with the life of the colonials after settling on Earth, but honestly that wouldn't have the same vibe as BSG. An MMO couldn't really offer anything "new".

| Religious Fanatic | Plus there's not much you could do with it. There's Cylons and there's Galactica, and for a short time, Pegasus. Galactica was about one narrative that has a set beginning and end, and there's not much you can do with that without leaving the confines of the show itself and going to some time before the holocaust, which would make the link to the show pretty tenuous.

| Astro-Monkey | It's not like any other game based on a TV show or a movie has every felt the need to add something to the universe they're borrowing from... Honestly, I'd love for there to be a great movie/TV franchise that doesn't have a video game based on it. Why put out an inferior product just to capitalize on success? And, who keeps buying this crap?
