I just picked up the Scarface Anniversary Edition. I hadn't seen this movie in about 10 years, now I remember why...it is really pretty dated.

But I picked up a great line from the movie that I hadn't heard before. Pacino is talking to the Bolivian drug lord and he says...

"Mr Sosa, I only got two things in this world...my word and my balls...and I don't break them for anybody!"

How is it dated? Scarface is one movie I've never seen, but I intend to.

The clothes, the music, the slang. The worst part was that they have all these white guys playing Cuban and South American Drug types with really bad accents.

Robert Loggia plays this big Cuban Drug Dealer in Miami and F. Murray Abraham plays his Cuban henchman -- LMAO

Also, Mary Elizabeth Mastroantonio plays Pacino's sister, Gina, with a really bad accent.

"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" is an absolutely superb spoof of "Scarface".

ROTFLMAO

Oh, you are so on the money. That game is actually why I wound up getting the video. Everytime I played, I thought about Scarface.

Well, I'd say it's more of a tribute than a spoof, but whatever. GTA3 also had some Scarface stuff in it, like the music on Flash FM, and I could have sworn one of the colombians mentioned a "Scarface idiot" in the last mission.

I love Scarface myself, I don't care about the accents, it's just a really fun film to watch.

Someone should write a book:

'The Philosophy of Tony Montana'

Perhaps there is a relation between Tony Montana's philosophy and Gary Coleman's:

"Wha? Choo traina fuck wich me, main?"

"Wha Choo Talkin' bout, Willis?"
