Matrix Revolutions Dvd

Read on the 'net earlier today (possibly at Digital Bits) that due to the big box office drop off, Matrix Revolutions will be released on DVD on January 6th.

Also, George Lucas is releasing eps 4-6 on DVD in September or October of 2004. I also read he is adding scene with Hayden Christiansen (Anakin/Vader) and Ian McDermaid (Emperor) for episode 6, Return of the Jedi. From what I read, the scene in ROTJ where Luke removes Vader's helmet and at the end when the spirit Anakin appears at the celebration are going to have Hayden Christiansen digitally inserted.

Sorry... but both are false rumours.

Revolutions will not be released Jan. 6 as previously reported. According to WB, the release date has yet to be determined.

There are sooooo many bullshit rumours flying around about SW on DVD that its not even funny. I wouldn't read into anthing about the original DVD's and when/how/what their release entails unless it comes directly from Lucasfilm or FOX.
