   |  Is this season which starts on Friday night on Sci Fi, the last season for SG-1? I know Stargate Atlantis starts this summer, will that replace SG-1?

  | Actually, this friday Season 7 picks up where it left off last summer. I seem to remember them being signed for an 8th year (IIRC, this season finale was supposed to be the movie, which would lead off into Atlantis. They postponed the movie because of the 8th season. IIRC of course  ).

| They split the season in half? Mind you, I only within the past month or so really gotten into SG-1 and have been trying to catch up on things. Sci Fi makes it easy as they show a crap load of episodes every week.

| Ridiculously fucking long hiatus. We're talking since fucking August. It's retarded, and one more reason to hate the Sci-Fi Channel. But the two Stargate shows will run back to back when "Atlantis" comes along.

 | Yeah, the episodes began to air here in september but has shown constantly with only a 2 week break for christmas, so we've acctually passed you on this one. "The Xindi" showed here on monday too.
